Kate Henshaw has reportedly lost everything she had in the fire that engulfed her Lekki phase 1 residence on Thursday, June 25, according to her colleagues.
The inferno which was said to have been caused by an electric surge
according to witnesses was said to have begun from her bedroom area
before spreading to other areas of the house.
The actress who had just finished shooting a series Do-Good, with her colleagues rushed home after neighbors gave her a call intimating her about the disaster, The Nation Reports.
Efforts to salvage the building proved abortive as the fire fighters who arrived the scene could only contain the fire from spreading to the home of the second occupants of the twin duplex.

Explaining the extent of the damage caused by the fire, one of her colleagues told The Nation that “Her
room started to burn first, then it burnt down completely everything
she’s got in this world. It was a sad thing to watch your property going
down. The situation was helpless. We couldn’t look the actress in the
face. She was more than devastated. Everyone at the scene was
distraught.”
