Hernanes Signs For Juventus
The Brazilian midfielder underwent a medical in Turin on Monday and has now put pen to paper on a three-year deal with the Italian champions
Juventus have confirmed the signing of Hernanes from Serie A rivals Inter.
The 30-year-old emerged as a last-minute target for the Bianconeri, who watched their top creative midfield target Julian Draxler join Wolfsburg on Monday.
With Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal having been sold to New York City and Bayern Munich respectively this summer, the Scudetto holders were in dire need of a proven midfielder to bolster their squad ahead of the transfer window's closure.
Having completed a medical on Monday, Hernanes has put pen to paper on a three-year deal, with his new club paying €11 million for his services with up to €2m more in add ons.
