Casillas Shows De Gea He's Still Got It With Incredible Save

The former Real Madrid goalkeeper showed that the 24-year-old might not be able to replace him yet in the national team with a great reaction stop in training.

Iker Casillas has shown that he is not willing to surrender the No.1 spot in the Spain team to David De Gea just yet.

The 34-year-old was shoved out of Real Madrid as the Santiago Bernabeu side stepped up their pursuit of the Manchester United shot stopper, only to see a deal break down on transfer deadlne day.

While De Gea did not get to replace the World Cup winning veteran at club level, Casillas has risen to the battle for the No.1 spot at La Roja to ensure he is not displaced by the 24-year-old.

Casillas made an unbelievable save during Spain's training session on Wednesday, as a cross was met by Cesc Fabregas and headed towards goal from close range.

However, the midfielder was denied by Casillas with a wonderful reaction save to show that he is still a reliable force between the sticks.
