The Uses And Benefits Of Aloe Vera


Aloe Vera is the most famous house plant. Also it is known as “miracle plant” or sometimes “natural healer” too. The lower part of the Aloe Vera leaf is used for medicinal uses. 

The gel obstructed from the lower side is applied on the wounds or the affected area on the skin. Leaves as well as seeds both are considered as the edible parts. It has necessary amino acids in it that are required by the human body and are not produced by the body.

Also the extract of Aloe Vera is applied to hair and your face as it gives you a glowing skin. Aloe Vera is helpful against asthma. The Aloe Vera leaves are boiled in the water and inhaling the vapors of it can reduce the effect of asthma.

Used As A Cream:
Aloe Vera gel is used as a cream as it heals the cuts, small wounds, insect bites, rashes and grazes. Also it used for the damaged tissues andB. Skin problems like eczema, acne, pimples, itching are also cured by this. Many people use Aloe Vera as a moisturizer as it helps in enhancing the elastic property of the skin.

Consumed As A Juice:
If you have digestion problems, Aloe Vera is the good option for that. It can solve the digestion problems such as ulcers, acidity, Candida, IBS and many more. Also improves the muscular and skeletal problems like arthritis. It strengthens the immune system by acting against asthma and fever. Aloe Vera acts as an antioxidant against the free radicals.

Pharmaceutical Uses:
Other than cosmetics Aloe Vera has pharmaceutical uses too. The juice of the Aloe Vera is consumed to improve the internal condition that includes coughs, fevers, cold, headaches, ulcers and constipation. However, it does not have any side effects. If anyone has vaginal irritations, Aloe Vera is used for that purpose. It is used internally as well as externally. An individual suffering from sores or cold sores, Aloe Vera is the good option. It helps in hydration of the skin. Aloe Vera being a natural plant it helps in cleaning of the bowels and brings out the reduction of bloating. The Aloe Vera juice and gel when mixed with safflower and oil of wheat germ, it can be used for reduction of bruising.

Aloe Vera gel is applied on the scalp and it fights actively against dandruff, dermatitis and hair fall purposes. You can regularly use Aloe Vera gel on your hair.

Periodontal Care:
Aloe Vera’s abstract is applied directly to the damaged gums to decrease the inflammation and pain. It also promotes healing. It is used against the tooth decay and to avoid plaque.

Eye Care:
To make eyewash, first dissolve the powdered aloe Vera gel in cup full of water. For healing process you can also add little boric acid to it. Then pour the mixture through a filter and then only apply to the eyes. It is very relaxing.
