Fur Haters Crash Rihanna’s Party

ANTI-FUR protesters caused a stink when they crashed Rihanna’s perfume launch party and blasted the singer for her fashion choices.

As the 27-year-old music artist promoted her new fragrance, RiRi, at Macy’s department star in New York City, activists from animal rights group Their Turn stormed the swanky event.

Protesters filmed the chaos and uploaded the footage to YouTube.

The video captures the mob holding up posters and chanting slogans including “fur is murder” and “shame on Rihanna. Fifty dead animals, one fur coat.”

One protester wearing a “vegan” cap was swarmed by security guards as he approached the stage before being dragged away.

Rihanna did not appear to be wearing fur at the launch, however she has been criticised several times for doing so in the past.

In a post on Their Turn’s website, activist Donny Moss wrote: “In May 2015, she wore a dress with fur trim the size of small swimming pool to the annual costume gala at NYC’s Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.”
