The striker becomes the club's second acquisition of

that they have paid €8 million for the forward
Stoke City have confirmed they have signed Hannover 96 striker Joselu for a fee of €8 million. The 25-year-old, who joined Real Madrid as a teenager before leaving for the Bundesliga, becomes the third Spaniard at the Britannia Stadium alongside Bojan Krkic and Marc Muniesa.
Joselu scored eight goals in 30 Bundesliga appearances last season, whilst also providing four assists, and it has been reported that the deal could cost close to €10 million in total, when both wages and transfer fee are factored in.
Joselu becomes Stoke's second signing of the summer, after goalkeeper Jakob Haugaard joined the club in May.
However, despite their flurry of activity in the transfer market, Stoke face a battle to keep hold of one of their prized assets, with Chelsea eyeing a move for Asmir Begovic as they look to replace Petr Cech, who is set to move to Arsenal.
