Fetish 419 Syndicate In Ibadan Arrested By Police

The Oyo State Police Command yesterday paraded a gang of highly fetish 419 syndicate which specialised in defrauding unsuspecting citizens of huge sums of money.

The police said they deceived their victims by claiming to cure their various ailments.


Marquez to miss two Copa matches


Central defender Rafael Marquez will miss Mexico's two remaining Group A matches at the Copa America through injury, the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) said.

The experienced 36-year-old suffered an injury to his left thigh during Mexico's 0-0 draw with Bolivia on Friday and misses Monday's clash with hosts Chile and the match against Ecuador on Friday.

"The estimated recovery period for this kind of lesion is seven to 10 days," the FMF said in a statement on Saturday.

Marquez, Mexico's captain at four World Cups including Brazil last year, is leading a second string team in Chile without leading players Carlos Vela, Javier Hernandez and Giovani Dos Santos.

Tyga Stiffed Sex Assault Accuser

The woman who sued Tyga for sexual assault has a Rihanna-esque message for him -- "Bitch better have my money" -- 'cause she says he still owes her a ton o' cash from their settlement.

Allison Brown sued Tyga over a wild 2011 music video shoot ... where she claimed she was plied with alcohol, forced to appear topless on camera, and dry humped by some dude in a rabbit suit.

She and Tyga settled the case out of court earlier this year, and according to her attorneys ... Tyga was supposed to pay her $50,000.

I'll be new Milan coach - Mihajlovic

Former Sampdoria coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has ended the uncertainty surrounding his expected nomination as the new coach of AC Milan.

"It's going fine, within two weeks I will be the new Rossoneri coach," Mihajlovic is reported as saying by Sportsmediaset while the Serbian attended the 24 hours of Le Mans race.

Former Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi remains coach of the embattled Serie A giants, who will not compete in Europe next season after finishing down in midtable alongside city rivals Inter.

However Mihajlovic's statement appears to have spelled the end for Inzaghi, who failed to lift the club out of the gloom after taking over from former team-mate Clarence Seedorf last season.

Malawi Flames coach fired


Malawi coach Young Chimodzi has been fired barely a day after losing 2-1 at home to Zimbabwe on Saturday.

The Football Association of Malawi (FAM) emergency executive committee meeting held in Blantyre on Sunday after the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Group L defeat, resolved to release Chimodzi and his assistant Jack Chamangwana.

The coaches’ contract ends next month and FAM decided to send them on leave until the expiry of their tenure. The two coaches leave with a record of six wins, five draws and 12 losses in all competition. He won the 2015 Cosafa Plate Division championship in South Africa two weeks ago.
